Fail-Proof Vintage Meadows Ordering Strategy

Let’s be real… we’ve all been there.

It’s Sunday night, and you just remembered you have to submit your Vintage Meadows order for the week. You glance at the time - you have 15 minutes to get it in before the deadline!

Thoughts rush through your brain. First up, milk. We need to restock, so I’ll order six gallons - there’s only three available? Oh well, I guess that will have to do. How about cottage cheese? Nope, it’s sold out for the week, bummer! Okay, well, I suppose we’ll just get some produce… hmm, there’s only potatoes left for this week.

Sound familiar? DON’T WORRY - this is not your forever fate!

Vintage Meadows packing manager Beth has some tips and tricks to make placing your order a breeze - and ensuring you get everything you need!

Monday

Our online store opens at 10 am on Mondays, for delivery the following week. View a delivery schedule HERE.

Monday morning, log in to your account an start your order. Add the dairy products, eggs, and frozen products you know you’ll need. If eggs aren’t in stock yet, check back Tuesday to snag your eggs. If there is a meat cut that is out of stock, take note of it, and check back later in the week (e.g. bacon).

Thursday

Available produce is added to the store later in the week. Log in Thursday to add desired produce to your cart. This is also the time to add jumbo eggs (if there are any available).

Friday evening & Saturday

Remember the bacon that was out of stock earlier in the week? Check “out of stock” cuts of meat and add them to your order on Friday or Saturday. Meat gets restocked on Fridays, so that’s the best time to check up on out of stock meat items.

Any Day

Cheese, ferments, bakery items, merch, and anything else not mentioned above can be added at any time during the week.

Placing Your Order

Any time you edit your order, be sure to click SAVE! It is not a bad idea to log out and log back in to BE SURE that your order was saved. You can add or edit your order until the final order deadline at 11 PM on Sundays. After that, existing orders cannot be edited, and new orders cannot be placed.

In Summary

Here’s a handy little list to summarize it for you!
